Drone Leak Investigation · Government
Drone leak investigation for recreation & aquatic centres.
Pools, arenas, and rec centres are the hardest-working buildings a municipality owns — high interior humidity pushing vapour into every assembly, big flat or barrel roofs, pool basins and surge tanks losing water invisibly, and ice plants whose brine and condenser systems add their own leak modes. They are also beloved, busy, and politically visible when they close.

Aerial investigation reads these buildings from outside while programs continue inside: roof moisture mapped over natatoriums and arenas, envelope anomalies flagged where humid interior air is escaping and condensing, and site services screened — with our ground crews confirming pool-system losses through dedicated leak testing when the basin itself is the suspect.
Where recreation & aquatic centres leak
- Natatorium roofs attacked by humidity from both sides
- Pool shells, surge tanks, and buried returns losing water silently
- Arena roof condensation masquerading as roof leaks
- Envelope air-leakage paths rotting assemblies invisibly
- Mechanical and chemical-room moisture migrating into structure

Our pool loses water but we can't tell if it's evaporation. Can you?
Yes — that is a solved problem, but a ground-based one: controlled bucket-test protocols and isolation testing distinguish evaporation from real loss, then isolate basin versus plumbing. The aerial layer adds value around it: surveying the deck assemblies, surrounding ground, and buried site services for where escaping water is actually going.
Why do natatorium roofs fail differently?
They are attacked from both directions — weather above and chlorinated humidity below, driving vapour into the assembly wherever the barrier has gaps. Thermal mapping shows the wet zones; the pattern (tracking interior grid lines versus weather details) helps separate condensation loading from rain entry, which changes the fix entirely.
Can surveys happen without closing the facility?
Yes — all primary capture is exterior, flown in evening windows around program schedules. The facility stays open; the findings arrive mapped and ranked. If basin testing is subsequently needed, that phase is scheduled with operations — typically overnight.
